Compensating Cable for R Type Thermocouple is specially designed for connecting R-type thermocouples (Platinum-Rhodium/Platinum) to temperature measurement and control instruments. These cables use conductors made of special compensating alloys that accurately reproduce the thermoelectric characteristics of R-type thermocouples within the operating temperature range, ensuring precise temperature signal transmission.

Construction

· Conductor: Solid or stranded compensating alloy wires corresponding to Platinum-Rhodium/Platinum thermoelectric properties.

· Insulation: PVC, PTFE, FEP, or fiberglass depending on temperature and environmental requirements.

· Shielding (Optional): Aluminum foil or tinned copper braid for EMI/RFI protection.

· Outer Sheath: PVC, silicone rubber, or fiberglass braid – heat, oil, and chemical resistant.

· Color Code: According to IEC 60584 or ANSI MC96.1 standards.
