Armored VFD Cable

0.00
Armored VFD Cable is specially designed for connecting variable frequency drives (VFDs) to AC motors in industrial environments where mechanical protection and electrical shielding are essential. It combines excellent electromagnetic interference (EMI) resistance with durable mechanical armor, ensuring safe, stable, and long-term operation in applications involving frequency-controlled motors and drives.

Construction

· Conductor: Class 5 flexible stranded copper according to IEC 60228.

· Insulation: XLPE or PVC insulation with excellent dielectric properties.

· Shielding: Aluminum/polyester tape + tinned copper braid (85% coverage) for EMI protection.

· Inner Sheath: PVC or LSZH material for additional insulation and mechanical stability.

· Armor: Galvanized Steel Wire Armor (SWA) or Steel Tape Armor (STA) for enhanced mechanical strength and rodent protection.

· Outer Sheath: PVC or LSZH, UV- and oil-resistant, flame-retardant.
